Your Parks and Open Space
Open Space properties are as diverse and distinctive as the
environments throughout Boulder County. The map below shows areas that are open to the public and offer excellent passive
outdoor recreational activities
for all County residents and visitors. More information
about individual parks, including kiosk trail maps and directions, is

Rules and Regulations
The challenge is to accommodate passive recreation in a
manner that does not destroy or conflict with the primary values of each
open space property. Enjoy Boulder County's open space lands but remember to treat them
well. As you recreate on open space, please:
- Follow the rules and regulations.
- Respect private property boundaries.
- Be aware of your impacts on wildlife and the natural environment.
- Be aware of trailhead thieves.
Help protect our open space for your future enjoyment and for the
enjoyment of future generations.
