Reynolds Ranch/Baylin Forest Management
Boulder County Parks & Open Space will be conducting forest management
activities on the Reynolds & Baylin Properties, along Magnolia Road and
near Nederland, over the next several months. There
will be significant activity on both the north and south sides of
Magnolia Road at approximately mile marker 10.8 (near the old power
line).
This project’s objectives
include mountain pine beetle mitigation, fire mitigation and
regeneration of lodgepole pine and aspen. We will be removing trees
through patch-cut areas to improve forest health and species diversity.
